Not as welcoming as it used to be

点评：This pub used to be thd highlight of holidays for my husband and me. It used to warrant 5 stars.
The beer was always great, the welcome always warm, the fire nice and cosy. We have previously spent full days here, just soaking up the atmosphere and spending all our holiday money. We have spent silummers, anniversaries and Christmases here and have such wonderful memories. We've influenced other friends to come to visit too, they've loved it equally.
During our more recent visits, the welcome hasn't been that warm which has put us off returning. We have seen a decline.
There are new staff behind the bar who are busy making personal phone calls, telling their personal problems to other staff and regular customers, and not looking after customers who actually want to buy a drink. This isnt welcoming or professional.
There is one 'regular' who goes in every day, sits on a table for 6 right by the fire for the entire day and behaves as if he owns the place - he doesn't. He selfishly takes up that seat, meaning other people can't enjoy the full cosiness of the place, and he takes it upon himself to put far too much coal on the fire,r rendering uncomfortable for others. Obnoxious, rude and treats the place as if its his own living room.
Last time we visited with the intention of staying for much of the day, we left after 2 drinks as we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Will we stop visiting? For now, yes. We would love that old welcome to return. For now, we will leave it.

上次我们本来打算待上一整天，结果喝了两杯酒就离开了，因为我们感到不自在，不受欢迎。
我们会不再来吗？目前来说，是的。我们很希望以前那种热情好客的氛围能够恢复。但现在，我们只能暂时离开。
