Ghar Dalam的点评
点评：We found the online opening days list on Google to be wrong - still presumably giving winter opening hours. Google stated the site was closed on Wednesdays but the Malta Heritage page said that the site was open on a Wednesday in March.
We took a chance and took the bus to the site.
When we arrived we walked up the hill to Borg In-Nadur unfortunately finding that you can’t buy tickets from the office there you have to buy tickets back down the hill at the Ghar Dalam desk!
We looked at Borg In-Nadur from the gate and didn’t end up going back.
Ghar Dalam cave was interesting but I did think we would be able to go further into the cave than we could.
The attached bone museum was very interesting.
On reflection I don’t think I would have missed anything if I had not bothered to go to the cave. I wish now maybe I had spent the time elsewhere.
I might be being a bit critical - I would say if you are short on time then deffo put this at the end of your wish list well behind Ggantija, Mnajdra, Hagar Qim, Domvs Romana, Mdina, Rabat, Valletta & 3 Cities.
Don’t forget you can buy combo tickets for most of the sites & museums to save a few €.
