I don’t like Jazz, or do I??

点评：My first visit to Glee Club was a really pleasant surprise. We went to see The New Orleans, Story of Jazz, which I’ll admit I had been dreading as I hate Jazz! Controversial I know but my husband loves it and apparently I am legally contracted to attend things with him (like the football!!) yes, I am an amazing wife!
However, I ended up really enjoying it. The musicians were excellent, and the storytelling made it engaging throughout. The added comedy element was unexpected and so funny. The accompanying musician stood at front was excellent!
The venue itself was well run, with friendly and efficient staff. The downside would be the food pricing. I didn’t eat, but my husband ordered Cajun fries which were nearly £7 for a small portion. The pizza was also quite pricey at £12 for two slices, which felt excessive. I was in New York last year, enjoying the freshly made dollar slice! There was no way I would justify handing £12 over for two slices of frozen pizza!
Overall, it was a great evening and I’d definitely consider returning for future events.
