Iskanderkul Lake的点评
点评：Iskanderkul Lake is one of the most scenic and serene places we visited in Tajikistan. Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks, the lake has a calm, almost timeless beauty that immediately draws you in. The setting feels untouched, and simply sitting by the water and taking in the views is an experience in itself.
A short trek of about 20 minutes from the main lake took us to what is locally known as “Snake Lake,” a hidden gem that many visitors might miss. Quiet, less crowded, and beautifully set amidst nature, this smaller lake offered a completely different and more intimate experience. The walk to reach it is easy and absolutely worth it.
Another highlight was a waterfront restaurant near Iskanderkul where we stopped for lunch. The food was surprisingly excellent,-fresh fish, flavorful, and served with stunning views of the lake. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and relaxing meals of the trip.
Overall, Iskanderkul is a must-visit destination,- peaceful, scenic, and deeply refreshing. If you have the time, don’t miss the short hike to Snake Lake and make sure to enjoy a meal by the water, it completes the experience beautifully.
