Fun to try once, but lacking atmosphere
Boom Battle Bar Manchester Printworks的点评
点评：We visited Boom Battle Bar Manchester Printworks for our anniversary date day and had a mixed experience.
The drinks were, unfortunately, disappointing. They were on a 2-for-1 offer (which I had to ask about, as the bartender seemed unsure), but they tasted like very basic fruit-juice cocktails with minimal or low-quality alcohol. Overall, they felt quite cheap, which took away from the experience. I also had to wait at the bar for some time as there was no staff member present, which felt odd given there were only around 5–6 other visitors.
We booked the 30-minute axe throwing session (around £15 per person). The activity itself was fun and something different to try. We had two assistants during our session, as they changed over halfway through, I assume the assistant/game keeper is required for safety reasons. They were lovely, but having staff remain with us the entire time slightly took away from the relaxed vibe and felt a bit like having a third wheel. We couldn’t really have the relaxed conversations or shared experience we had hoped for.
The session also felt rushed. We started a few minutes late (unsure why, as no one initially came over to us) and finished a few minutes early. When you also spend the first part learning technique, the actual play time feels quite limited.
It didn’t feel like great value, especially as each activity in the venue is charged separately for fixed time slots. We could have opted for the 60-minute package with food and a beverage, but at around £35 pp it felt pricey, and we had already eaten.
The overall atmosphere felt quite cold, flat, and cheap, with sticky floors and tables.
We both agreed it was fun to try once, but not something we would return to now that we’ve experienced it.

这次体验感觉很仓促。我们迟到了几分钟（不知道为什么，因为一开始没有人过来招呼我们），又提前了几分钟结束。由于前半部分都在学习技巧，实际体验的时间感觉非常有限。
感觉性价比不高，尤其是场地里的每项活动都是按固定时间段单独收费的。我们本来可以选择包含餐饮的60分钟套餐，但每人大约35英镑的价格感觉有点贵，而且我们已经吃过饭了。
整体氛围感觉很冷清、乏味，而且很廉价，地板和桌子都很黏。
我们都觉得体验一次还不错，但既然体验过了，就不会再来了。
