点评：We were very happy with the bikes - good quality, the front and side panier very useful, helmet and locks great, placed at the right size and great system in having them at the first accommodation ready for us. Accommodation was excellent - we did upgrade to comfort and we found the guesthouses at Castelnaudary with Francois and Corinne beautiful, Thomas' guesthouse at Homps wonderful, the Carcasonne hotel very very nice and the Prison hotel at Beziers so quirky and high quality. The very fancy hotel in Sete - gorgeous. (Shame about the unfriendly service there though - which was not the fault of Utracks') It was disappointing however to cycle the Canal du Midi and find that 75% of the trees have died and are being replanted. Our trip was in June so some advice regarding the heat and sun exposure during that time due to the issue of little shade after Castelnaudary was something we would have been appreciative of. It was also a shame that there were so little eating and drinking opportunities on the Canal du Midi - it was necessary to go off track exploring to find food / drink and then it was pot luck if boulangeries, patisseries, cafes, bars etc were open (i.e. it may have been their day of closure)
