Deeply Knowledgeable Tailors making high-quality suits at affordable prices
皇冠裁缝店的点评
点评：I grew up in Asia and took it for granted that I'd be able to find high-quality tailors making great suits at an affordable price. Moving back to the US and entering the workforce was a rude awakening in that regard. There's no way you're getting a jacket and pants like this in NYC under $2k. I had resigned myself to wearing off-the-rack and hoping I could keep my physique trim enough.
That's how I felt until a buddy introduced me to Crown Tailor. I was due for a total suit reset (I put on a lot of muscle and a little belly since I was a skinny teen). I brought them my old suits, was measured, and picked my fabrics. They have a wide variety of color, style, and pattern options. As I need I rebuild, I went fairly conservative- a navy blue and a gray blazer/pants combo with 3 shirts with french cuffs and nothing but subtle patterns and colors.
A very short 2-3 weeks later, I received a well-sealed and protected package in the mail. Each piece of the suit was nicely folded, individually packaged, and exactly was I was looking for. The suits fit great and for the first time in a long time, I was excited to wear them to a wedding.
There's a danger here though - they do such a good job that I'm going to end up spending at least a few thousand rebuilding my business wardrobe.
Anyway, A+++ will buy again.
ps. Getting complimented on your suit as a menswear amateur is a great feeling that I would bottle if I could.
