Lyca Sim , no way

点评：I would have considered a zero. But it did actually work in the UK.
I bought a Lyca Sim at Heathrow in transit from Australia to Athens. It worked at Heathrow airport. But I could not install the app to my Aussie phone. So I had no control of the service. I did not wish to change my country on my phone. I was away for over a month so when I got a text message about continuing service I opted in. That turned out to be a monthly plan (my bad). So the son should have worked in 48 countries including Greece and France where I was travelling to. It only worked in the UK. I had to buy another Sim in Paris to avoid being lost when roaming. So I installed the Lyca app when I returned home to Australia but it would not allow me to even discuss my UK sim. Said I didn't have a Sim. From their UK website as my location was now Australia it would not accept a 44(UK) phone number as identification and would not talk to me. I am continuing to be billed monthly for a Sim that I am unable to use. I continue to receive text messages from Lyca saying I gave unused data ( all with no reply). I have bought Sims in the UK before with no problems. Once I had to go into a phone store to get it activated for the country. But generally had no problems (the last good one I got was from Amazon, I can't recall the provider but it was a well known one that even I had heard of in Oz. )
I should have taken an old phone and made that UK for the UK sim. But hindsight?
