点评：Outstanding experience!
This was my first ever visit to an Eco farm and probably one of the best experience packages I’ve had in my 15 yrs of visiting Greece. I booked the 2 hr Beekeeping experience last minute and although the Kokkiadis farm is just a 10 -15 min drive from Heraklion port, I drove over 90 mins from Mirtos to check it out and it was totally worth it.
Despite me arriving an hour late, the welcome from the Kokkiadis team was superb. The owner Stavros, as well as assistants Fatmir and Christoff were superb and incredibly accommodating hosts. They offered Coffee, lemonade and Cretan cheese pies refreshments on arrival. Perfect after the long drive.
Then we began the 3 part tour shortly after starting first with their incredible Eco-farm project, then a quick Bee keeping tutorial and a tour of the Bee Hives and honey processing equipment; finishing with a lovely tasting session of their award winning organic Honeys, Jams, Marmalade and Olive oils. As the only person there for that days booking, it was essentially a private tour, but very relaxed, informative and engaging. The farm and products were incredible and I would highly recommend the experience to anyone, but especially any foodies interested in natural foods, Beekeeping or sustainable farming. Fantastic
