My daughter and I visited Inflata Nation Colindale, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting.
During our visit, my daughter injured her lip, which started bleeding. She was in considerable pain, screaming and crying. Despite her obvious distress, none of the staff offered appropriate assistance, first aid, or even basic care.
Instead, the receptionist simply told me to go to the café to get some tissues. When I approached the café staff, they directed us to the toilets, which were messy and unhygienic. I was genuinely shocked by the lack of concern, compassion, and professionalism shown towards an injured child.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that my daughter still had time remaining on her booking. However, no member of staff offered us the opportunity to return another day to use the remaining time, or suggested any form of compensation for the disruption caused by the incident.
As a parent, I would expect a children's activity centre to take injuries seriously, have appropriate first aid support available, and ensure that staff are trained to respond with care and urgency when a child is hurt.
I am extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. What should have been a fun and enjoyable experience for my daughter turned into a distressing one.
I would appreciate an explanation from management regarding the lack of first aid assistance, as well as a suitable resolution for the unused booking time and the poor customer service we experienced.
I sincerely hope Inflata Nation Colindale takes this complaint seriously and reviews its procedures to ensure that no other child or parent has to go through a similar experience.
