Awful service - we left after 10min of being ignored

点评：It's such a shame because this place is really quirky and a lovely setting, but after over 10 min of no-one coming to take an order we decided to leave. On arrival we were asked rather abrubtly if we'd made a booking. We had not and I asked whether we needed to and told that yes they prefer it. However, there are reserved notes on the tables, I was told and you can see when someone is coming in, so as long as you vacate by then it's ok. Already feeling quite awkward and unwelcomed, we took a seat that was reserved for 2pm - it was just after midday. I'd already mentioned that we were probably only having a drink anyway. A minute later a member of staff walked past and reminded us we had the table until 2pm - ummm yes, I didn't think it would take 2 hours to have a drink. Anyway, I guess it may have taken 2 hours because we were then completely ignored. We sat for over 10 mins and no-one came to take an order for 2 cokes and an icecream. We decided to leave. Such a shame - it's a lovely setting and I would have recommended to my mum and all her friends would have no doubt tried it. However, bad customer service is just not acceptable and the place was not inviting.
