点评：I attended an event at Venue 16 on 24/10/2025.
That night, just before 7.45pm I went to leave with my 3 year old twin daughters who were cold and tied, and my 13 year old niece is waiting outside in the cold to me to collect her. But I was told I wasn’t allowed to leave. The fireworks haven’t event started at this point.
I am emailed then whilst there, standing in front of an intimidating security guard blocking the entrance to my car, with frozen fingers as we were being held hostage and denied a god given right of freedom to leave the venue.
Absolutely nowhere did they put a sign up saying ‘if you wish to leave before the fireworks, please leave before 7.45pm’. It was an absolute disgrace that I was refused access to my very own car. My poor children were frozen.
I do not care that this was due to safety. I cared they held us hostage and made no member of the public aware they will be held hostage if you don’t leave before 7.45pm. This is unacceptable.
To add salt to the wound I’ve had absolutely no response to the complaint email I sent on 24/10/2025. We will never ever attend this venue again and will not recommend it to any of our friends and family.
