点评：as i was in aktau over a public holiday, all museums are closed.
museums or no musesum, i think Skalnaya Tropa rock trail promenade is still one of the best areas to explore in aktau especially when weather is sunny and clear, or close to sunset.
i started the walk from the katamaran jetty 43.629431, 51.169478 . it costs 3000 tenge to take the 30 min boat ride onto caspian sea, to look back at aktau coastline. however, payment is only possible by kaspi QR, which is linked to local bank account. i didnt have kaspi and not even enough cash lol, but the boatman kindly accepted 2000 tenge from me then usher me onto the boat. woo hoo. foreigner privilege.
once back to shore, i continue walking the coastal boardwalk and pavement until i reach the "I love Aktau" sign 43.645962, 51.146622 . i suggest allocating 2-3 hours for boat ride, coastal walk, photos, and detours. beautiful journey all around.
then reward yourself with a good meal at restaurant bozjyra 43.653401, 51.1632403
