点评：We stayed in apartment 5 off The Causeway off Marine Drive in Bigbury on Sea. The apt was great - light and airy, with a large deck right above the beach and a fantastic view across to Burgh Island. View of beach and tides is better from this side than from the island (in my view) because you have the beautiful famous art deco hotel and island as the backdrop. Island is cut off twice a day due to tides. The complex's ground floor has apts with decks, and balconies for 1st and 2nd floor apts. (My rec is for the ground floor and would definitely return to apt 5.) Parking space for apts - up to 2 cars per apt if nose to tail (nearby public car park seems to have issues with paying.) There is a cafe on the complex ground floor with indoor/outdoor seating and a great view, with varying hours at lower season (also a small but very nice looking pool). Another seasonal cafe near beach. Maybe a dozen steps down to get to complex but after that there are lifts and you can reach slipway/beach easily from a private gate beside the cafe. No mobile reception in village but apt has WiFi and a landline. For me the perfect stay would be a few days in the apt then a couple of nights at the island hotel but you can walk across to island and climb to top - part of the island, and the pub on island, are public access.
