点评：WATERED DOWN COCKTAILS - DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY GOING HERE!!! A group of 6 of us went here to celebrate a family birthday, after 5-6 cocktails each we were all still stone cold sober!! We bought a couple of the pitchers for £34 the menu stated that there was enough in them for 4 glasses - not true!! The Pina Colada was half full of crushed ice and we managed to get 2 and 1/2 glasses out of it! The Long Island Tea, which SHOULD have 5 shots of alcohol in it just tasted of coke and the Woo Woo was just cranberry juice and loads of ice. We also ordered Baby Guinness's - they came in the smallest shot glasses that you can purchase.
We tried to speak to the owner Nick about our experience. What a totally vile individual he is - he told us that he had his most experienced bar staff on that night and that The Fallen Angel's cocktails were the best in Guilford and then he proceeded to tell us that if we weren't happy not to come back!! So we left and went across the road to the Coppa Club and had the most amazing cocktails, which we could taste the alcohol in. For information Nick - you might want to pop across to the Coppa Club to see what the best cocktails in Guildford taste like and take notes back with you to your most experienced bar staff or take them across with you.
We thought that it was strange that we weren't allowed near the bar, as on our previous visit people were actually sitting at the bar (other reviews have also commented on this). Is this so that you can't see the bar staff short measuring the cocktails!?!?
Looking back at the tickets and the email confirmation, there is a lot about The Fallen Angel needing their customer's to buy drinks - it appears that there is no thought or care to the customer's getting value for money only The Fallen Angel making a profit at their customer's expense. Very disappointing!
