点评：We had an unforgettable experience exploring the desert with Aziz! Starting from M'Hamid, we embarked on a two-day journey to Erg Chigaga, and it was absolutely incredible. Aziz was not only knowledgeable and professional but also warm and friendly, making us feel at ease throughout the trip.
Initially, we debated whether to visit the desert from Merzouga or M'Hamid, and we’re so happy with our choice. As Aziz himself put it, the Merzouga desert is the "Coca Cola desert" - much more touristy. Don’t get us wrong, Erg Chigaga is also a popular destination, but because the journey from M'Hamid is longer (around 3 hours), it attracts fewer day-trippers from Marrakech who are there just for the photo op.
The drive from M'Hamid to the desert was an adventure in itself. Along the way, Aziz showed us local tea houses, oases, beekeepers, and even let us taste fresh arugula straight from the desert. These small moments captured the true beauty of this land and made our first desert experience unforgettable.
The journey itself was stunning - traveling through the vast, peaceful dunes was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Aziz shared fascinating insights about the region, the culture, and the desert's unique ecosystem, adding so much depth to our adventure.
The highlight was reaching Erg Chigaga, where the dunes seemed endless, and the sunset over the sand was breathtaking. Spending the night under the stars in the middle of the desert was magical. At the camp, we enjoyed an amazing campfire with live music and lots of dancing - one of our favorite memories from the entire holiday.
We highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting M'Hamid. Aziz made our desert adventure truly special, and we can’t thank him enough for the memories we’ll cherish forever.
