点评：Most tourists skip this point as the temple is located on the out-skirts of the city and hence time & transport often becomes an issue. I pity them because they don't know what they have missed. It's a newly built temple and I understand it was just not possible to find such huge acres of land and such a quite and peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the city. Because of its out-of-the-way location finding transport while returning to the city might become a challenge. It's better to book your transport to & fro. We got a to & fro auto for Rs 1600/- including about 3 hours' waiting. The temple is an architectural marvel with a 108 ft high awe-inspiring 5 metal ( Panch-dhatu) murti of Shri Ramanuja Swamy visible from a distance. Even the 120 Kg pure gold idol of Swamiji inside the temple evokes wonder. A day-time visit may take 2 to 3 hours depending on your interest and inclination. Laser shows and dance performances are staged every evening starting from 5-30 PM which, I can imagine, must be a treat to the eyes. There is a prasadam counter and also a restaurant with limited options of food and beverages. Miniature models of 108 different temples of South and North India are located over a vast expanse of land . You may take a guide ( charge Rs 500/-) for showing you around and explanting the significance of each of these temples which include the Tirupati Balaji Mandir also where you can offer puja at a nominal cost. Mobile phones/cameras are not allowed inside for which there is a well-maintained cloak room at the entrance.
