点评：I had a business meeting in Idaho Falls, so we are staying for two days, since I’m combining it with some vacation in this beautiful part of the world. Unfortunately, my love of the West has been put to some serious testing on this trip. First, the Mercantile Steak in Kalispell, MT (separate review), then the Rocky Mountains “HI” RV & Campground in Kalispell (separate review), and now, the Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls, ID. Being a history buff, I cannot wait for them to open at 10 AM in the morning. And then I discover the ugly truth: not only is admission way over what this type of hodge-podge museum in this part of the world would charge, but it’s much higher for out of state residents! Hey, Museum Management, very few locals go to local museums, the majority of museum visitors are out of state. And you really want to cash in, don’t you! Well, I got news for you: the invisible hand of the market will regulate this: it’s no wonder that there was only ONE (1) car besides ours at the parking lot outside. We canceled the visit and requested a refund. It took some persuading, but they DID give us back the money together with warning that it would take “3-5 days to get the refund”. A darn’ shame.
