A great experience in a simulator which felt very realistic

点评：I went because of my fear of turbulence. The pilot who I had a one to one session with, Chris, was brilliant, very friendly and reassuring. Somehow it helped that he wasn't in a pilot's uniform but was just dressed casually. He spent time going through my issues so he understood the problem and then tailored the session to deal with these. He talked about how safe flying is and the different types of turbulence using some slides on a iPad which was really helpful and then we flew not one but two simulators.
The facilities are amazing. The passenger area of the plane was totally realistic and both cockpits that we used were exactly how you would expect them to be.
The second sim was the one that moves and the feeling of turbulence was very realistic. Because by this stage I was helping to 'fly' the plane I was far more focussed on that than worrying about the bumps. It was also interesting to experience the turbulence whilst being able to see out the front. I think it definitely helped with my fears and I'd thoroughly recommend it. Thanks so much Chris.
