Dont stay in the OOD cabins in winter - they dont work for Scotlands short days

点评：Dont stay in winter at OOD Hotels by Arbikie.
Whist the pictures show an amazing outlook, & a sense of space and calm, when we arrived shortly after the check in time there was no view as it was already too dark. Worse, the walls become a complete mirror so you will be looking at endless images of yourself which is a very uncomfortable feeling. Theres no sofa to relax on, only dining chairs, leaving only the bed to sit on - & then you are back to the mirrors everywhere & feeling cramped & claustrophobic again. There is not enough space for the bed - only 20-30 cms to get in one side - so a risk of bumps getting in & out. The table next to the chairs is too small to eat dinner on, & there’s no tv to distract you from the mirrors. Check out is 10am so you would only see the view for a few hours in November & maybe never in December. It need rethinking for winter - maybe outside fairy lights to help see outside & give a sense of space? & comfortable easy low chairs to read a book on? & earlier check in times. We hated it so much we left after 15 minutes. It might be lovely in summer but do not go in winter when its not been thought out to work with Scotlands short days & long long nights.
