Good Package, But Captain Was a Major Letdown

点评：Last year around the june month we booked a Chopta–Tungnath–Kaleshwar trip with Deja Vu Travel. Overall, the package pricing was reasonable and most of the services were genuinely great.
What went well:
Stay: 5/5 – Comfortable and well-managed
Food: 5/5 – Good quality and satisfying
Fellow Travelers: 5/5 – Amazing group, made the trip enjoyable
Driver: 5/5 – Skilled and reliable throughout the journey
However, the biggest downside of this trip was the Trip Captain – Meet Patel, which unfortunately impacted the overall experience.
Concerns:
The captain seemed unprepared and lacked basic knowledge about the destinations—no insights into geography, history, or even the itinerary flow.
There was no effort to build a group vibe, which is essential for group trips.
At times, it felt like there was an unnecessary emphasis on language, which made things uncomfortable. A trip should be inclusive and welcoming to everyone, regardless of language or background.
Most importantly, the captain left the group midway to pursue his own plan (towards Vasudhara Falls), even though the trip was supposed to be Delhi to Delhi. This is highly unprofessional, as a trip leader is expected to stay with the group throughout.
Final Verdict:
While Deja Vu Travel has strong logistics, planning, and execution, the role of a trip captain is crucial—and in this case, it was a major letdown.
