Costa Rica One On One Tours的点评
点评：We just returned from a magical 9-day high action-packed adventure in Costa Rica. Our hearts are so full of Pura Vida, we are already thinking about how we can return.
We had the pleasure of working with Laura and Manuel with Costa Rica One on One Tours from day one of planning this trip and we highly recommend them if you want a stress free and amazing trip to Costa Rica! During our first phone call we talked about what our family envisioned for this trip and what kind of adventures we wanted. No detail was left out. In the months before we left, they helped us build the perfect itinerary, which was filled with leisure, adrenaline and lots of animals. Every day was a new and very different adventure; we chose to stay very active and don’t regret this decision one bit.
We are a family of 4 with two boys age 16 and 19. We flew from Portland to Liberia, Manuel greeted us at the airport in his very comfortable van, the Silver Fox! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and like family, having snacks and drinks for us throughout the trip. I can’t imagine if we would have had to rent a car and navigate the roads by ourselves. Being with Manuel the whole time allowed us to sit back and enjoy the ride. The country is beautiful and while our sons could rest on the longer car rides, we enjoyed soaking in the countryside while Manuel talked to us about the culture, people, animals, and customs of Costa Rica. They also planned out trip knowing when we would need to stop for food – always taking us to off the beaten path restaurants where we would not only get good food but also got to have some unique cultural experiences.
We started our adventure by going to the cloud forest in Monteverde. We had a fun day above the clouds doing an aerial tram and hanging bridge tour. The wind and crazy rain didn’t stop the fun. In the evening Manuel and one of his good friends Mino took us on a night walk, that was everything we imagined, complete with a beautiful viper sighting! Their vast knowledge about the environment and animals taught us so much and was so interesting for everyone.
This is the day where it was so critical we had hired One on One Tours. Due to the heavy rain several roads had been shut down due to landslides. If we were on our own there is no way we could have navigated the roads and arrived safely. We also needed to pivot some of our adventures due to the weather and if we had booked on our own, we wouldn’t have been able to do this. Laura was able to switch around some of activities, so we didn’t miss anything but also didn’t waste any days due to the rain.
In La Fortuna we enjoyed hot springs, mud baths, ATVs, wildlife and waterfalls. One of the highlights of the trip was a hike to Bajos del Toro. It looks straight out of Jurassic Park, the lush mountains and the breath-taking waterfall, it’s a hike we will never forget.
Our last stop was Playa Hermosa in Guanacaste. The boutique hotel Laura recommended was more than we could imagine. It was right on a beach yet felt like you were in the middle of a jungle with monkeys, iguanas and so many birds all around you. We enjoyed more waterfalls, a boat ride to Rio Tempisque where we saw crocodiles, birds, and more monkeys! We did an amazing sunset catamaran tour on the Pacific. On our last day we went to Catarata La Leona, it was a high-octane hike where we forged across rapids to reach the waterfall which is inside a cave, it was amazing. Right after we did whitewater tubing, which was another highlight.
Now we are home, trying to adjust back to life, daydreaming of how we can return to Costa Rica, and missing our everyday interactions with Manuel. Costa Rica is a gorgeous country filled with even better people. Our trip will always be unforgettable, and Laura and Manuel were such a big part of it. They made our trip carefree, easy, and so much fun. They went above and beyond and made us feel like family. We can’t wait for our next adventure with them. Thank you for everything.

我们的冒险之旅从蒙特韦尔德的云雾森林开始。那天我们在云层之上乘坐缆车、走过悬空桥，度过了愉快的一天。尽管风大且雨势猛烈，却丝毫没有影响我们的兴致。到了晚上，曼努埃尔和他的好友米诺又带我们进行了一次夜间徒步。这一切都如我们所想象的那样，甚至还幸运地看到了漂亮的毒蛇！他们对环境和动物的丰富知识让我们受益匪浅，对所有人来说都极其有趣。
正是在这一天，我们请One on One Tours真是太重要了。由于大雨，多条道路因山体滑坡而封闭。如果我们独自出行，根本不可能顺利找到路线并安全抵达目的地。由于天气原因，我们不得不调整原计划中的部分行程。如果是我们自己预订的话，根本无法做到这一点。Laura帮忙重新安排了部分活动，这样我们既没有错过任何体验项目，也没有因为下雨而浪费任何一天。
在拉福图纳，我们享受了温泉、泥浴、骑乘全地形车、观赏野生动植物以及欣赏瀑布。此次旅行的亮点之一便是前往巴霍斯德尔托罗的徒步之旅。那里的景色简直就像是从《侏罗纪公园》里走出来的一样。葱郁的群山与令人叹为观止的瀑布，这是一次我们永生难忘的徒步之旅。
我们的最后一站是瓜纳卡斯特的普拉亚埃尔莫萨。Laura推荐的这家精品酒店远远超出了我们的预期。它就坐落在海滩边，却又仿佛置身于丛林之中——周围满是猴子、鬣蜥以及各种鸟儿。我们又欣赏了更多瀑布，还乘船前往特皮斯克河，在那里看到了鳄鱼、各种鸟类以及更多的猴子！最后，我们在太平洋上体验了一次绝美的日落双体船之旅。最后一天，我们去了莱奥纳瀑布。那是一次充满刺激的徒步之旅——我们穿过急流才抵达位于洞穴中的瀑布，景色简直棒极了。紧接着我们又体验了漂流水管运动，这也成了此行的又一亮点。
现在我们已经回家了，正努力重新适应日常生活。我们时常憧憬着如何能再次回到哥斯达黎加，也十分怀念与曼努埃尔日常相处的时光。哥斯达黎加是个风景如画的国家，那里的人民更是友善至极。这次旅行将永远留在我们的记忆中。劳拉和曼努埃尔在整个旅程中发挥了至关重要的作用。他们让我们的旅行无忧无虑、轻松愉快，充满了乐趣。他们尽心尽力，让我们感觉就像一家人一样。我们已经迫不及待想要和他们一起开启下一次冒险了。感谢你们所做的一切。
