Clovelly Village的点评
点评：Finally got to visit Clovelly on a trip in to Bude. Great stop off and a lovely village where time seems to have stood still.
Nice walk down on the cobbled streets but be careful and wear good shoes.
The places going down the hill are interesting, like the fisherman’s cottage with lots of history to look at and take in.
We opted to go all the way down to the harbour exploring along the way taking in great views.
Be prepared for a big hilly walk back up, although there is a shuttle service if needed at a small charge. We figured we could get a cream tea at the tea room on the way up as a reward. Possibly the best cream tea ever with spectacular views. Then an ice cream and a drink in the New Inn. We spent a few hours but didn’t get to see the garden or do walks. The plan was to visit on way back home as ticket includes free return within 7 days. Unfortunately the weather was bad on way home so we didn’t return.
Would recommend a visit to see this time capsule which is a little gem.
