Perfect way to spend an afternoon on Benbecula!

点评：The tour was recommended by friends who hail from South Uist (and by our lovely hosts!) and it didn’t disappoint! Our tour guide, Rhona, was very friendly, informal and knowledgeable and made the whole visit very relaxed and fun.
The building is beautiful and prefect for a small, family-run distillery. It was great to hear just how much of the island is poured into each bottle.
The tasting room was fantastic - 4 x 25ml measures of all 4 gins plus one of the Sloe and Bramble (which, at 31% is between a gin and a liqueur) and a small sample of their fairly new Rum.
Finally we hit the shop and it was a wrangle to decide which to take home!! The decision was made easier knowing that we could order everything else online with no postage charges!
Well worth a visit, whatever the weather! 😀
