点评:Warning this is long but hopefully helpful
We rented a dry cabana about $300
(The floating cabanas are $400)
The dry cabanas are spread amongst the action- nearest to the bar/waterfront/live stage.
Out biggest gripe was the lack of seating
Cabana is advertised to accommodate 6
Only four chairs in the cabana
Imagine paying for cabana and standing all day.
Scattered plastic lounge chairs are impossible on a busy weekend
Long line to get in- especially at opening
(Mostly bc people want a seat/shade- there is not nearly enough chairs for the amount of people they let in)
(You are not allowed to bring chairs)
The line is long bc ONE person is thoroughly checking bags. Absolutely no outside food/snack/candy.
Then on to the window for your wristband- that was quick/easy
Cabana is open on all four sides so depending on the time of day the sun still shines strong into the cabana- no shade or curtain panels- no ceiling fan or power
They are not sectioned off at all so several people would just walk across our cabana to avoid the hot sand floor or just for a shortcut.
We were informed it’s a 3 hour wait for food- so you must know what you want to eat three hours from your order time
The usual luxury of cabana-to casually order your food throughout the day is non existent.
The stove wasn’t broke or they weren’t missing a cook- it’s just usually like that.
Three hours later- only half of our food came bc the second “handwritten ticket”
Was “lost”.
The kitchen said they will still make the food but it’s not rushed or prioritized just had to wait another 2 hours for that missing food to arrive.
When the food came- it was decent And hot. (Or were we starving?? Lol)
On to the water facilities: this “lagoon” was a first for us and most likely the last.
If you are land-locked and only get to go to lakes/creeks/rivers maybe this type of pool is a nice.
It’s a large pool with sand (the sand is like clean soft dirt) but a very small portion is roped off for wading in the pool. It’s very crowded. you cannot do any strokes or floating around.
The floor is hard plastic that sorts of moves around as you walk on it.
The deepest part is 3feet, there are people everywhere you turn bc it’s such a small space and the water is “murky”after awhile.
Bathrooms were decent.
Would probably go to a waterpark instead
Same price and crowds/lines but you get to actually have fun in the water bc they have wave pools/lazy river and rides.
