A relaxed couple of hours seeing Jersey’s history

点评：I had a lovely time at Jersey Museum!
There’s so much to see! Room upon room, floor upon floor! Absolutely fascinating!
My favourite piece was Benson the dog (and the birds waterfall outside - ‘Fontaines des Oiseaux’ I think) but, the best thing I saw was Fort Regent Signal Station, from one of the windows! I’d only read about it but had never been in the right place to spot it before.
The lady at the entrance was super friendly and helpful and, of course, I made a donation. I think that even though somewhere is free to enter, there’s always going to be money needed by the attraction somewhere along the lines every little helps!
They had a nice shop with plenty of postcards, snacks and toys etc.
I spent around 2 hours at the museum, including brunch at their café (The Yard - exceptional coffee, food, and service!) and it was time well spent to learn more about the island and its history
