点评：Our luxury homestay, Anchorage 42, recommended Sanjeev Sharma for a tour of Chandigarh’s architectural highlights. My interaction with Sanjeev began with a delightful WhatsApp “conversation” that fleshed out the details of the tour and gave me the confidence that we had made the right choice for our party of six. He arranged for two comfortable vehicles with drivers along with the lovely Hamani to collect us at our homestay. I am an architect (and had high hopes)… what followed was one of the best architectural tours I have experienced. Sanjeev is a whirlwind of contagious enthusiasm! Both he and Hamani had a seemingly endless repertoire of anecdotes and facts about not only Le Corbusier, but Max Fry, Jane Drew and Pierre Jeanneret. He and Hamani packed a lot into our one-day itinerary, well-paced and with welcome breaks for masala chai and lunch. Because I had spent some time with Jane Drew in 1990, he specially squeezed in a visit to some of the housing she had designed. When I had asked Sanjeev what was not included in the price, he had replied: “The next day as after spending one day you will want one more day with me”… Sanjeev - you were spot on! We sadly had to leave Chandigarh the next day, but I would recommend a two-day tour to anyone reading this review.
