点评:Last time I visited this amazing place was in 2009; hence I write amazing and that's why I booked a maharaja suit and 3 Dewan rooms for more than a week; the total would be pretty crazy amount to spend for a family holiday in chail!
That's not the point 👉 the point is that now this place has turned into a fish market. The day time visitors (non resident guests in huge quantities raid the place to take meager selfies with himachali dresses in the main garden where the resident guests can't even sip a cup of tea at peace. The restaurant and bar are swarming with guests that are non residents and leave aside that; in the private area there is no control of entry. Guests come and knock at the doors saying they want to have a look at your room from inside.
There is a clear sinage at the private areas but the hotel management is so poor and understaffed they they can't control the influx of these people. For resident guests there is least priority for service and housekeeping.
The hotel management has turned their backs to us and are constantly entertaining the petty visitors inspite of spending lacs of rupees the rooms (except maharaja suit) are filled with dust, mould and odour.
The poor and indifferent attitude reflects the over-all hospitality level of Himachal Tourism which was never like this. We came with high hopes and we are still here for another week.
If there is any higher authority reading this, I would be very upfront in requesting them to prepare the local staff here for the up-marking their attitude towards us. I do not want to disturb the hotel atmosphere and my family holiday but if this is not solved I will have this issue dragged to the court of law under the deterioration of consumer services and breach of privacy of the premium hotel guests under appropriate Indian Penal Codes & Indian Consumer Law.
