Two great days in the national park

点评：We visited the Yok Don national park for 2 days / 3 nights. We came for the elephant experience tour, and booked the full day tour (which is a morning tour and an afternoon tour with lunch in between). Each of the tours takes you to different sites and elephants.
Both tours were great, and we got really up close to the elephants. The guides told us about the elephants all along, and also about the «flora and fauna» in general.
The day after we did a morning boat tour on the river. It took us down the stream for some distance and back up again. It was a nice and relaxing tour, with the guide explaining and answering any questions.
Finally, we did a small (8km) trek in the afternoon. This was a lot of fun, and the guide was great at telling about plants we saw on our way through the forest. We saw a Dried Wood Snake on our way! We ended up at a waterfall, and made our way back from there.
Accomodation is basic, and you should set your expectations accordingly. However, the tours are all worth in. The staff and guides are very welcoming and service minded!
All in all, very much recommended!
