点评:We were passing thru and noticed sign for Hoover site. Intended to go to pres library. We are history geeks and love Pres homes. Walked into visitor site to get our guidebook for national parks stamped.
The ranger at desk told us tour about to start so we jumped on it. Was 45 minutes and Clarice from IL was our ranger . Shes very informed and interesting. It was FREE. Gift shops and restrooms offered. All very clean
We saw actual home Hoover was born in, school were sibling went to, blacksmith shop and Quaker building. Buildings open 9-5. Grounds heavily walk by locals.
The house is actual home Hoover born in and never moved. The whole area is still set up like it was in his day. Amazing. Peaceful. Nature.
Highly recommend. And do Hoover library if you have time
