点评:I had my leaving party here a couple of weeks ago (11/05/24) and have delayed my review as we have been waiting on a ‘response’ from the owner on our complaint about the food and drink. We couldn’t actually speak with him in person on the night because he was at a gig… the manager of two bars booked with a 60 person party and a live band on a Saturday night isn’t on site?? Extremely embarrassing management and customer service. We got our response three weeks later, after being consistently ignored!! from the chef and then we were blocked.
The reasons for the fridges being completely empty on a Saturday night was that there order didn’t arrive on Thursday? Surely if you knew this, the problem could’ve been rectified on Friday/Saturday by purchasing more stock?!
You can see in the photos the fridges are completely empty! And these were just some of the drinks that were unavailable:

Baby Guinness (Baileys & Tia Maria)
San Miguel
Inches cider
Motörhead pale ale
Southern comfort
Rekorderlig
Espresso martini
Passionfruit martini
Sex on the beach
Strawberry daiquiri
Dilute juices
Soda water

We paid £150 for the room hire, then an additional £300 for food, we were told 30 heads @ £10 each would be more than enough food for 60 people due to the vast amount of food usually provided.
It shows up, 4 slow cookers, at best a 1/4 full of food including a pot chips also a 1/4 full! It was literally all gone after 15 people had gone up for food, absolutely shambolic. We complained about this, but nothing could be done as the manager wasn’t there to solve the issue, too busy partying himself!!!
We could have done our own spread to feed everyone for a much cheaper price and at a much higher quality!!
THIS IS WHY WE ARE BEYOND DISAPPOINTED TO PAY £450 AND NOT RECEIVE AN OUNCE OF EXTRA FOOD, ALCOHOL, A PARTIAL REFUND, OR EVEN COMMON COURTESY FROM THE MANAGER.
The hospitality from the owner is one of the poorest I’ve EVER experienced in my 6 years within the industry. If you’re dealing with a major complaint, what makes you think the best idea is to get one of your subsidiaries to respond to lie, backtrack and argue about how much food there was, and then block us!!! Completely unacceptable.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BOOKING HERE, SCAMMERS!!!
