Gorgeous Gallery in Merida

点评：I had an absolutely amazing time visiting this gallery. I went twice, first just wandering in, and the second time because a pair of earrings was just calling my name. I stayed for around twenty to thirty minutes each time, the gallery small but incredibly intricate and worth spending time in to take in the pieces and the culture.
It's beautifully designed around a small cafe area, with around five or six small showrooms all displaying art by different local artists in various mediums. There are jewelry, sculptures, kitchen-ware, art by children, and a lot more to see. It's definitely worth it just to get a flavor for the art of the region.
The staff are really friendly and attentive and more than willing to talk about the local artists being showcased at the gallery. I went in the morning/early afternoon so there were no other customers at the time, and admission was completely free, you just walk in and take a look.
