点评：We booked a half day riding session with Galope Austral and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I’ve done many different trail rides over the years and have often been left feeling disappointed… riding in a strict line, on an unresponsive horse, staring at the horse in front of you for the entire ride because you’re not allowed to break position. It makes you realise how little you actually learn on your typical horse riding trails. Galope Austral was a completely different experience in the best possible way.
Our hosts, Charlotte and Enrique were warm, engaging and genuinely two wonderful people. They were incredibly attentive throughout the ride. They would check our riding and make sure both we, and the horses were safe and comfortable. They gave thoughtful guidance on things like how we were holding the reins and how to adjust our position when riding up or down hills. As a result, we actually learnt and improved our (limited) horse riding skills through out the journey.
The horses were beautifully trained, patient and clearly very well cared for. You could tell the horses welfare was a genuine priority.
And then there were the views…
Patagonia in itself is like stepping into a painting. But experiencing those landscapes from horseback, with the sun on your face, crossing streams, breathing the fresh air and while being immersed in the scenery… it was easily one of our favourite days in Patagonia.
If you have a day available and are looking to do something different from hiking while still being in nature, I would highly recommend booking with Galope Austral. Charlotte and Enrique provide a personalised, professional and a genuine Patagonian horse riding experience.
