Go to a spa where the therapists are trained properly.

点评：I came here as a gift for a half spa day with lunch and treatments. I arrived to a friendly receptionist and was shown around the facilities. It was small but pleasant. So far so good.
The treatments were delayed as a therapist had not arrived. I didn’t mind as I was enjoying sitting in the jacuzzi.
I was not told that I would be having a male therapist which made me a bit unsure but I went ahead with my back massage. It would be better to tell clients the gender of their therapist in case it is an issue.
The massage was not very relaxing I had so much oil slathered over me I feared I was about to be the Sunday roast as I was basted in thick oil. I can only describe the quality as “teenage boyfriend level” slightly awkward and just generalised rubbing. This was until it came to my arms where intense circular pressure was put on the veins of my wrist it was uncomfortable and I should have said to stop but I didn’t. When I came out of the massage I realise that my wrists were heavily bruised. Afterwards when speaking to the Manager I was asked if I was diabetic-I am not. It made me realise that no health questions had been asked as they do in every other spa I have been to.
Then there was the facial. Again the slather this time of face mask and scrub much of which went in my eyes, in my mouth. By this time I was worried about drowning in face mask and started to wipe it off with my hands. At this point he did start to remove it out of my eyes with some very rough cotton pads.
The lunch was large but very mushy the lemon parfait described as lemon curd and pillowy whipped cream came out as an orange block of something akin to 1970’s frozen mousse. It was also bright orange. I have yet to see an orange coloured lemon. I didn’t eat it.
To be fair the Manager did offer for me to go back and have a treatment on them but I think that I am busy that year. I will go somewhere where the staff are trained properly.

午餐分量很足，但很软。据说是柠檬酱和蓬松的鲜奶油的柠檬冻糕，挤出来是一块橙色的块状物，类似于20世纪70年代的冷冻慕斯。它也是亮橙色的。我还没见过橙色的柠檬。我没吃。
公平地说，经理确实邀请我回去做一次护理，但我想那年我比较忙。我会去那些员工受过良好培训的地方。
