点评:Absolutely amazing views!! About 10-15 miles of the road leading up to Bear Rocks is gravel at times and dirt and rocks at times and lots of pot holes to avoid. It was a bumpy ride but well worth it! I read reviews on others sites that it was a dangerous drive - especially after lots of rain. It was not at all a dangerous drive. We had 3 inches of rain within 36 hours of going and the entire road was completely dry, except at one low point, there was about 5" of water, but not a problem to get through.
When you park at the top, you can just walk a short distance and see the view or there is a one-mile loop trail, the first half of which is up and over rocks and boulders. It was so beautiful. It has the feel of Maine/Canada.
I would not recommend taking small children as there are not any guards to keep them safe at the edges of the boulders and there are a lot of crevices.
