Boozeless booze cruise
Majo Fishing Lodge - San Carlos的点评
点评：I would not recommend booking a sunset or “booze cruise” with Majo Fishing Lodge in San Carlos.
We arrived at 3:45 PM for a scheduled 4:00 PM departure, expecting the experience described on their website. The pricing listed was $600 for a sunset cruise and $800 for a booze cruise, so we anticipated a well-organized and enjoyable outing. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.
Our cruise was supposed to start at 4:00 PM, but there was a last-minute captain change and the replacement captain arrived late. As a result, we didn’t actually leave until 4:45 PM, which significantly cut into the sunset portion of the trip.
For a group of 11 guests plus 2 crew members, only 24 bottled waters were provided, and there was no alcohol at all—despite the “booze cruise” description. The trip itself was very basic: simply going out and coming back, with none of the features or atmosphere that were advertised.
While the two crew members on the boat were kind and did their best, the overall experience was disappointing. Additionally, the person in the office was difficult to work with, which added to the frustration.
Overall, this felt misleading compared to what was promised online. I would not recommend this trip for anyone looking for a true sunset cruise or booze cruise experience.
