Disappointing and unsafe New Year’s Eve experience

点评：After being mislead by false advertising about their NYE event, we dined at Bao were told when we arrived that we had 10 minutes to order drinks and food and that the menu was limited because the restaurant would be closed in 20 minutes. In addition to that, we were told we would not be able to ring in the new year in the restaurant and that we had to move to the nightclub. This was not the experience we had hoped for , we expressed this with the manager, but we were still told we had to move. Unfortunately, what followed was chaotic and genuinely unsafe.
When leaving, the entry way to the lounge became severely overcrowded, with no crowd control, no water provided at any point, and very little clear guidance from staff. When guests raised concerns about safety and the risk of people being crushed, security laughed it off rather than taking it seriously. It felt like a situation that could have turned into a stampede very quickly.
While the food itself was fine, the overall experience fell far short of expectations for a venue of this reputation, particularly on a night where safety should be the absolute priority.
After back and forth emails with management, they later acknowledged operational and safety failures, which speaks for itself.
I would strongly advise caution when considering this venue for major events or busy nights.
