点评：We were on a Viking cruise that stopped for a day near Olympia Greece. We booked a tour with Nikki and asked for a combination tour where we would get to sample local food & wine and then to tour the site of the original Olympic games. Nikki and a driver picked us up right at the port and our first stop was a very small family-run winery. The grandfather grew the grapes, pressed them, made the wine, bottled it by hand, corked it, and attached the labels. It was very tasty. He only makes around 400 cases a year so it was not available for export to the US. So sad! He also makes his own olive oil which was also delightful. We each got a can to take with us. After the tour of the winery, we got to do a tasting, and the grandmother prepared food for us. She makes everything from scratch including her own phyllo dough. She made spanakopita with greens that she picked from the field behind the house. She made bruschetta using her own homemade bread. The tomatoes were outstanding. There was so much food we did not come close to finishing it all. Then it was time to go on to Olympia. We stopped in the town and got to sample some Greek coffee drinks. All excellent. Then on to the ancient Olympic stadium. There were a number of large groups touring, but we had our own private tour guide. Nikki is so knowledgeable about the history, and we got so much more in our tour than the big groups did. Then unfortunately it was time to go back to the ship. Nikki provided us with an incredible day of touring. We could not have asked for anything better. Booking a tour with her is absolutely worth it - you will not regret spending a day with her.
