点评：Our experience with Valentino Yachts was exemplary, both in terms of excellent communications with the Owners (represented by the brilliant Twins, Apostolos and Iliana Delikaris), and in terms of the quality of the vessel with which they have chosen to entrust us. The Aureliano, a 46 foot Bavaria Nautitech Fly catamaran is a most comfortable cruiser, equipped with a power generator, watermaker, and air conditioning. She is beautifully maintained and well taken care of, as a result of which we have not experienced any major technical problems during our three weeks' long journey. The vessel accommodates eight people in comfortable, individually air-conditioned cabins equipped with private bathrooms (electric toilets!). The yacht has two en-suite showers and one shower on deck. Additionally, it is equipped with cushions for the trampolines (always a great thing!), a rather spacious fridge and a small freezer. Its tanks may accommodate 600 liters of fresh water and 600 liters of diesel fuel, which grants it autonomy during longer passages. She is easy to manoeuver, easy to dock, and easy to maintain. The Owners are always available to respond to questions or assist one with technical issues, should they arise.
The three weeks during which the Aureliano was our home were the time of our lives. We started our journey in Alimos (Athens), sailed to Egina, then to Isthmia, we crossed the Corinth Canal westwards, visited Corinth (including an excursion to the ancient area of the city), sailed to Galaxidi (which is only 30 minutes away from ancient Delphi!), Patras, Oxia, Kalamos, Lefkada, Vathi (Ithaca), Fiskardho (Kefalonia), several lovely bays in Meganisi, and finally to Zakynthos, where, having paid a visit to the famous wreck and the Blue Caves, we changed crews. On our return journey we expanded the range of experiences by visiting Palea Epidavros, Poros, Idhra, and Sounion before returning to Alimos. Wherever we went, we found lovely places to drop anchor, swim and snorkle. Sheer delight!
And... we did have a guitar and a few harps on board, so you can imagine that our nights were rather short and our days very long, but no one would even consider sleeping in.
We will be looking forward to return to the Delikaris family for more fun and more adventures!
