Erehwon Beach的点评
点评：Whoever named Erehwon Point thought they were being terribly witty. It is literally named "Nowhere", which is great news when your boss asks where you went for the weekend. It tips its hat to a satirical 1872 novel, but here, the only rebellion is eating a dim sim on the sand.
Because the beach faces north, the waves are so polite they practically whisper. It is less "roaring ocean" and more "giant lukewarm puddle for toddlers."
Erehwon Point Beach is a tranquil, north-facing coastal sanctuary characterised by striking contrast: golden sands meet rugged, iron-stained red rock formations under a canopy of towering green Monterey cypress pines. Because it faces north toward Western Port Bay, its visual character is entirely different from the roaring, wind-whipped surf beaches on the southern side of Phillip Island.
The right side of the point is punctuated by unique, rugged red rock formations that provide a stark, earthy contrast to the blue water.
Weathered wooden poles and historic timber planks sprout from sections of the sand, lending the beach a nostalgic, maritime aesthetic.
