Great introduction to a beautiful country
Travel Tropical Tours的点评
点评：We just completed a 10-day private tour in Costa Rica with Travel Tropical Tours. It was fantastic and I highly recommend this company! My husband and I wanted to experience the culture, people, food and adventure in this beautiful country. The tour company owners Sarah Bethune and Greivin Gongora Munoz did not disappoint us!
I am an incomplete quadriplegic who walks with a walker indoors (only for short distances) and uses an electric scooter outdoors and for longer distances. Travel Tropical Tours was able to work within my abilities.
Here is the list of some highlights of our tour.
* Picked up (Liberia) and returned (San Jose) to the airports in a comfortable van.
* Both hotels (in LA Fortuna and Maneul Antonio) were superior; all breakfasts included.
* Private guided tours for all excursions.
* Tour guide and driver were available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm every day. For example after our day excursion they took us to a Soda for a traditional Costa Rican dinner per our request for a genuine local meal.
* Saw lots of wildlife such as sloths, birds, reptiles.
* Zipline using a wheelchair provided by the ziplining company.
* Oxcart ride and traditional Costa Rican lunch (we helped make the tortillas).
* Mistico Hanging Bridges - heavy duty electric scooter provided by the company (although could only navigate one hanging Bridge due to width of the scooter).
* Cooking class with traditional food and drink was truly delicious and amazing.
* Side by side tour offered a first hand experience of rural trails and roads.
* Tour of Manuel Antonio National Park to see coastal wildlife.
* Kayaking in the mangroves.
* Horseback riding on trails/roads; I had not been on a horse for more than 20 years (pre-accident).
