Blue Velvet Rangiroa的点评
点评：Blue Velvet made our Rangiroa trip a great one. My wife and I dove with them from March 23–30, averaging about two dives a day, and overall we had a fantastic experience.
The dive masters were excellent, especially Renan and JoAnna. They were knowledgeable, professional, and helped make the entire week memorable. We always felt well guided and in good hands. The Blue Velvet desk staff at our hotel, Marangie and Jutine, were also absolutely delightful and tremendously helpful. They managed our scheduling smoothly and made everything easy from day to day.
The diving itself was outstanding. During the trip we saw hammerheads, a tiger shark, dolphins, and an amazing reef. We were even able to complete a course for PE-40 certification, which was a great added experience and gave us the chance to dive deeper.
For constructive criticism, I do think it would help if Blue Velvet offered more variety in dive locations beyond the usual pass dives. The pass dives are fantastic, but over the course of a week, adding a few more alternative sites would make the experience even better.
My other small disappointment was that my wife was charged after dropping a weight belt during her back roll entry off the zodiac. Yes, technically it was her fault, and in hindsight the belt probably should have been exchanged because it was older and did not lock especially well. Still, after spending thousands of dollars on diving during the trip, that extra charge felt a little petty.
Overall, though, Blue Velvet is a very strong operation with excellent staff, skilled dive masters, and access to some truly incredible diving. We would absolutely remember this trip fondly.
