点评：First visit to Shuttleworth Trust by JH for about 30 years and much has changed since that earlier visit. Vast collection of aircraft, road vehicles, cycles and agricultural machinery, under cover in linked hangers and all in immaculate condition. Most are still in full working order, all clearly in view and with good descriptive detail of each item, whether large or small. Hard to beat anywhere and for a reasonable admission price too. A great tribute to a dedicated bunch of expert volunteers that is hard to match anywhere else we have visited. Popular cafe (although we did not eat there) and well stocked gift shop for souvenirs. Can get cold inside because heating is limited, presumably because of cost and preservation needs. Ample and adequate parking for normal days but could get very crowded for events. Includes a working grass airfield used by visiting aircraft and private flyers based at the location.
Somwhat surprised to find that The Trust does not offer a Gift Aid option for admission charges which would increase their income sigificantly if appropriate.
