Lord Howe Island with Australian Geographic.
Australian Geographic Travel的点评
点评：Lord Howe Island is a special place; and we were lucky to have good weather, though a bit humid for hiking & drying clothes.
Information provided on geology, landscape, birds, vegetation, current 'industry'& history, as provided by long-term resident, Ian, & our AGT guides, was excellent and is essential for me. This was enhanced by learning of the thorough management of the island by residents & NSW government to rid the island of feral animals & weeds. Such management & preservation of nature provides an example of how this is possible. This, the friendliness of people on the island, and mobility being primarly by bicycle or walking makes for a peaceful background and change from our normal lives.
Our tour leaders are delightful - friendly, informative & capable, and our group, as happens on such tours, were pleasant company.
The sites we visited were various - swimming, snorkeling amongst coral, fish & a turtle; bird-watching; boating; many hikes to beach, forest & cliff-tops with expansive views; museum, craft brewery, nursery, etc
The cabins were comfortable (not that we were in them much) although the 'Transit Room' bathroom for use after checking out could be improved.
Food quality in restaurants is good with lots of fresh fish.
If I were to change anything, I would have more snorkeling. Nevertheless, the itinerary is flexible, so on the last day I replaced a bike ride/hike with snorkeling.
Everything was included in the package price, except air travel, which is not cheap.

餐厅的食物质量很好，有很多新鲜的鱼。
如果可以的话，我希望多安排一些浮潜。不过，行程安排很灵活，所以最后一天我把骑自行车/徒步旅行换成了浮潜。
除了机票（价格不菲）之外，所有费用都包含在套餐价格里。
