点评：We flew from Gatwick to Luxor on an EasyJet Holiday to join Steigenburger Minerva for a 7 night all-inclusive cruise on the Nile from Luxor and Aswan and return, with stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo.
Purchased a Travco excursion package on board for around £250 pp and had escorted trips to the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, and Queen Hatchepsut Temple, the Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris, the Aswan and High Dams, the Philae Temple, and the Botanical Gardens via a Felucca ride. An excellent-value package with an onboard guide.
While at Aswan, we flew separately to Abu Simbel via Egypt Air (booked in the UK for approx. £175 pp return) The Abu Simbel temple is outstanding and not to be missed.
The overall experience was simply breathtaking and a once in a lifetime experience. The Steigenburger Minerva was spotlessly clean, offered a good variety of well-presented food and its staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The ship, whilst traditional rather than glitzy, was first-class in very respect
