点评：Jogini waterfalls located in Vashishta Village just 5 km away from Manali City. It is one of the most enchanting destination of Manali. This waterfall falls is dropping from a height of 150 feet. The water flows down into a stream surrounded by lush greenery and rocky cliffs.
Fortunately this is the first place which I have visited in Manali after check-in to Hotel. We reached to Manali by 11:00 am then reached to Hotel got fresh-up and had lunch. After lunch only half day left with us on that day, so checked with local people and then decided to visit Jogini Falls and Vashisht temple. Accordingly first visited Jogini falls. Vashist temple is also walkable distance from Base camp of Jogini falls. You also can plan your visit together.
Apart from its natural beauty, Jogini falls also holds spiritual significance at the base of the fall lies a small shrine dedicated to Goddess Jogini, a local deity believed to be the protector of the village. Village peoples visit this temple to seek blessings and perform rituals. Since this fall is near Jogini Mata temple, this falls named as Jogini Falls.
Jogini falls is accessible through a easy to moderately trekking of 3 km one way from base camp of Vashisht Village. During your trekking you will walk through narrow mountain trails flanked by apple orchards and rustic Himachal homes. As you gain altitude, snow covered peaks begin to unfold and lush greenery along with panoramic view of Beas river will mesmerised your visit. Total up and down may takes 3 to 4 hours time.
