点评:This would have been our 6th or 7th visit since just before christmas. Every visit we'd brought our leashed cat, sometimes with his pet stroller.
Previously we'd been welcomed, staff and other guests delighted to see him, stopping us to give him pets, telling us how lovely he is; this visit lasted 10 minutes, we were told on entry that he would no longer be welcome in the new galleries or the granary. Oh, he's been there before, is this a new rule? No, its always been a rule that we've never been told of. So we go in, enter the house, which is neither a gallery or the granary but within minutes someone swept in and told us to pick him up and carry him (anyone who knows cats, knows that's not a thing, he gets carried on his terms) so he's not allowed inside the buildings now? Maybe put some signage up that animals are not welcome on your site now, don't pretend you haven't moved the goalposts.
