点评：I had the privilege of climbing Carrauntoohil on the 7th of March 2026. with Pat Falvey and a fantastic group of people. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
Pat is a true legend and an inspiring person to meet in life. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. His leadership, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the mountains made the whole adventure feel exciting while also very safe. His attention to detail and care for everyone in the group was remarkable.
What impressed me the most was how he connected with every single person. He always had something to say to each of us — encouraging, motivating, and making sure everyone felt included and supported.
On the mountain we met other groups along the way, both on the way up and coming down from the summit. Some of them had lost their direction, and Pat immediately stopped to help them. On the way down he was also speaking with a group of young scouts, about 15–16 years old, who were asking him questions. He took the time to answer them and share his knowledge — lucky kids to have that moment with him.
Pat has incredible energy, a great soul, and a natural ability to motivate and inspire people. Climbing Ireland’s highest mountain with him was a truly special experience that I will always remember.
If you are thinking about climbing Carrauntoohil, I cannot recommend Pat Falvey highly enough.
