Metropolis At Metrotown的点评
点评：I read somewhere that Metrotown shopping centre is the 2nd biggest shopping centre in Canada and according to the blurb on this page it is the biggest in British Columbia. It is big I agree!
I wanted to visit during my trip to BC so I got the bus from where I was staying to Surrey and then got the Sky Train to Metrotown. It was quite straightforward and took me about one hour in travel time which I did not think was unreasonable.
There are indeed plenty of shops to check out whilst in the centre. Whilst I was there I checked out Muji, Daiso, Roots, LuluLemon and many more. They had a Hudson's Bay store but like many others across the province this has shut down.
I also had to visit the food court and sample something that I would not get in the UK so I went to Chronic Tacos which was really nice.
The mall is really easy to navigate. It is a little tricky getting from the sky train station. There used to be an overpass taking you straight from the station to the mall but this is now closed so you have to use the escalators or lifts to go down, cross the road and then enter the mall that way. The bus station is also close to the mall.
Even though it was a Monday during school time I was surprised at how busy the mall was. Fortunately it was not overcrowded.
I had a very enjoyable time visiting the mall and was there for a few hours. I will return next time I am in the area.
