费拉-奥亚徒步路线的点评
点评：This was a beautiful hike. The first part took us through the town of Fira. It had stunning views but was very crowded. I actually preferred the second half, which was a little more remote and rough, but offered great views of the caldera stratigraphy. We also took a side trip out to Skaros Rock, which adds a few kilometres of steep down and uphill onto the journey, but it is well worth it if you have the stamina. If you do go to Skaros Rock, follow the path all the way down to the church. There's also a lot of ruins around there. When we got to Oia, it was easy to get a bus back to Fira. I'd probably call it a moderate hike. The difficulty lies in the humidity more than anything else. There are moderate hills, and the track is stony but not that rough. In saying that, I do a lot of off-track hiking, so my version of moderate might be different from others. Very well-worth it if you have the time and fitness.
